The Zipbolt UT (Universal Tool) - Mini Half Mitre offers excellent on-site assembly as no clamp is required, making it suitable for shop-fitting, exhibition assembly or furniture and cabinet making construction. In general, the half mitre joint is unusual in which a panel with a cut angle is joined to a flat section; this joint is now made easy and without the need to show visible external fixings. The diecast housing has an open channel for simply placing over the shaft for easy thread engagement and positioning at the correct height.

A variation of bore size of 10.5 mm - 11 mm for Insert Screw (F) may be required for hardwoods or when drilling into end grain. Use waxing or lubrication if required to level Insert Screw flush in the material. If required, countersink hole to ensure Insert Screw is flush or below surface level of material.
