Retarder for Water-Based Coatings

This product is designed to slow the evaporation of coatings. It can be added to the stain base (ELSWB104) in order to extend its "open time" and improve wiping characteristics. It can be used in topcoats to help minimize mud-cracking or to allow a film to remain open longer to release trapped air generated by the spraying process. In machine spray applications, it will also help minimize tip-clogging.
