426U Silicon Carbide Paper Sanding Sheet

Ideal for general-purpose sanding. Constructed on an "A" lightweight paper backing and premium silicon carbide grains with resin bond. The lightweight backing provides flexibility for finishing contours, angles, and hard-to-reach areas. The hard and sharp silicon carbide creates a smoother superior finish than aluminum oxide or garnet on painted material and wood substrates. The resin bond provides superior grain retention. Combining the features of silicon carbide, resin bond, and lightweight paper, plus the open coat construction, this abrasive is very versatile and can be applied on wood, metal, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, glass, and ceramic for multi-steps processes such as general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, and prep prior to staining or painting.
